1. Types:
Solid contact rivet, bimetal contact rivet, tri-metal contact rivet.

2. Chemical composition:
Face Material: AG, FAG, AgSnO2, AgNi, AgZnO2, AgCdO, AgSnO2In2O3, etc.
Base Material: Cu, AG

3 Characteristics:
1) AgNi /Cu bimetal rivet:
A. It is widely used in AC switches.
B. It may be directly soldered to contact bridges, without the additional solder layers

2) AgCdO/Cu bimetal rivet
A. When the temperature is above900° C, CdO sublimes and cools the contactor surface and reduces arc energy and extinguishments.
B. CdO improves the welding resistance

3) AgZnO Rivet and AgZnO/Cu bimetal rivet
A. It is more thermally stable than CdO.
B. Higher contactor resistance, which would be compensated through structural means, such as a higher contacting force.

4) AgSnO2 and AgSnO2 In2O3 bimetal rivet
A. AgSnO2 and AgSnO2In2O3 are the ideal environment-protecting materials.
B. SnO2 has better thermal stability and higher hardness than CdO
